Robbie Moffat was born in 1954, Glasgow.
Neil Davies is not Robbie Moffat, he played the fictional character with the same name in Brookside in 2000-2001 (Ch4, UK).
The original writer of Brookside - Jimmy McGovern - toured Ireland with Robbie Moffat (the real one) in 1984. There may have been a case of sub-conscious identity theft on Jimmy McGovern's part.
