- Article new and long enough, and well cited. Hooks are interesting and are attributed to a source. Proposed image is free to be used on the main page. ALT2, which doesn't have a picture, could be a good hook for the bottom slot. QPQ not required. Styyx (talk) 23:21, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
- The word appears to be a Neologism which seems to comply with our WP:NEO policy. Lightburst (talk) 23:47, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
Generation Z or Generation Alpha?
[edit]Is this word used more by generation alpha? They’re the only generation I’ve personally heard using it. ERBuermann (talk) 23:08, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
- yeah its mainly gen alpha--but my mum--an XEnnial--is able to speak fluent gen alpha 206.57.152.111 (talk) 15:08, 6 November 2024 (UTC)

Wikipedia is now a dictionary?
[edit]This is kind of coming out of a dictionary :) Lellyhatesanimals (talk) 07:24, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not a dictionary, but sometimes individual words have interesting stories surrounding them (covered by WP:WORDISSUBJECT in the dictionary essay). This is one of those cases where there's additional social context around the word that a dictionary wouldn't adequately capture. This is a fine article. toobigtokale (talk) 10:32, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- Exactly what @Toobigtokale said; Wikipedia is anything but. 206.57.152.111 (talk) 15:11, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
Sources for 'Rizz' and 'Charisma' being related?
[edit]The page doesn't have a reference for 'rizz' having been used before Kai Cenat coined or popularised the word nor, and probably more importantly, does it have a reference for 'rizz' being derived from the word 'charisma'. 5.151.181.202 (talk) 02:49, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
- There are no academic or news sources, sadly 190.12.77.20 (talk) 18:44, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
- They are both right; however, I heard it in 2019; so Mr Cenat did not popularise the term. Not in 2021 anyway. 206.57.152.111 (talk) 15:14, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- And yes, rizz is derived from the Gen X English charisma. 206.57.152.111 (talk) 15:15, 6 November 2024 (UTC)

The Meaning of "Rizz"
[edit]"Rizz" was originally a shortened version of the word charisma. The word "Rizz" was originally used to complement others charisma. However, it has now become a new slang word meaning STD (sexually transmitted disease). Teenagers and young adults are now using this word to discretely communicate whether they themselves or others have a sexually transmitted disease. - All we need now is a reliable source that says that. signed, Willondon (talk) 15:14, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
- that is the most cap ive ever heard in one paragraph 206.57.152.111 (talk) 15:09, 6 November 2024 (UTC)

Rizz etymology
[edit]I have removed the etymology of rizz from this article per WP:Undue. Some sources say it likely comes from charisma[1][2], others say it does definatively[3], while an interview says that it is etymologically unrelated[4]. I can do stuff! (talk) 23:47, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
