Merge proposal
[edit]There seems little point in this article. This short river is a tributary of the Rother, and as such is included in its catchment area. It will help to make a more rounded article if the merger takes place. In any case the statement that it is unusual for rivers here to flow west-east is wrong - the Rother itself and all its right bank tributaries do precisely that! - as does the Medway for over half its length Peter Shearan (talk) 05:53, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- Why not just expand the article? The River Brede and the River Rother, East Sussex were both very small when I found them, but there was a wealth of information once I started looking, and both are now much more informative. I suspect there is also information on the Tillingham, although I have not started looking yet. Bob1960evens (talk) 17:45, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
- Now I have started looking, there is loads of material. Bob1960evens (talk) 17:50, 17 March 2013 (UTC)

- The wayback link to old maps is of no use whatsoever. I have fixed the original link to point to something more specific. Bob1960evens (talk) 16:17, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
