Update

[edit]

This page is somewhat sparse and I would like to update it with a number of new works that discuss Rimbert, his life, his relationship with his mentor Anskar and the role he played in his diocese of Hamburg-Bremman.

I intend to use a number of works to achieve this, they are as follows;

Bruce, Scott ‘Hagiography as Monstrous Ethnography: A Note on Ratramnus of Corbie’s Letter Concerning the Conversion of the Cynocephali’ in G.R.Wieland (ed) Insignis Sophiae Arcator: Medieval Latin Studies in Honour of Michael Herren on his 65th Birthday (2005) p.44-56

Knibbs, Eric. Ansgar, Rimbert, and the Forged Foundations of Hamburg-Bremen (Surry, 2011)

UPDATE

I have now completed the above-suggested changes. Any feedback or help on the formatting would be very much appreciated. I am relatively confident with the content, however, this is the first page that I have edited and I would welcome feedback and help regarding the formatting.
