As a supporter of the rights of nature it is nevertheless necessary to point out that the rights of nature as an intellectual, political and legal movement does not begin and end with Ecuador's initiative as this article presents. The article's title could be altered to make it specific to Ecuador but if it is generally on the rights of nature it should be more inclusive.NimbusWeb (talk) 01:21, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I would tend to agree. Let me see if I can do anything about that. For the moment, I'll just tag it appropriately, but eventually I'll see if I can't fix that. Zell Faze (talk) 15:45, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps this should be split into a short article Rights of Nature about the general concept, linking to a longer article Rights of Nature in Ecuador about its constitution etc.? Ben Finn (talk) 10:52, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
