Orphan Tag

[edit]

Removing the 'orphaned' tag as four other pages link to the article. Wikipedia says an article is orphaned if 'very few' other articles link to it, but I'm not clear how few constitutes very few. However, I've just checked quite a few other articles which don't have the orphan tag, and many of them have fewer than four articles linking in, so I'm assuming that four inward links must be more than enough to justify removing the tag. (One of the inward links seems of dubious relevance, but even so, three links is still more than many untagged articles) Dungate (talk) 19:34, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Two of those are to different Rick Lewis's. At the time that I tagged it as an orphan, there was only one incoming link Philosophy Now. The one from Emmanuel Chukwudi Eze was added yesterday. I'm satisfied with that as being sufficient for now - hopefully more will be added as more people become aware that he has an article. Sarcasticidealist (talk) 01:42, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
