This person is not notable. His books are not notable or bestsellers. I've never heard of him, and I practice and teach in this area of law. Bearian (talk) 20:46, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]


Richard's books have sold numerous copies, and he has been quoted by the Wall Street Journal (on TWO separate occasions), by the LA Times (I'm still trying to get my hands on an online version of the article to reference it), and he has been a guest on the J.T. Additionally, the rules regarding speedy deletion specifically state that "to avoid speedy deletion an article does not have to prove that its subject is notable, just give a reasonable indication of why it might be notable." The Wall Street Journal is a reputable source, and they find Richard notable in his field; this clearly meets the guideline quoted above. Cegentilini (talk) 21:23, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
