Contested deletion

[edit]
  • Keep This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Stephens is the namesake for Stephensport, Kentucky. How can the people of Stephenport find out who their town is named after? Also, while being a namesake for a current Kentucky town's name is purpose enough to have their own page, coupled with the fact that Stephens is also an American Revolutionary War hero, who was awarded over 100,000 acres for his heroics. Stephens is a veteran who literally fought for our nation's birth, and ended British tyranny.Sarahrosemc (talk) 02:36, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
