Contesting the Deletion

[edit]

Hello,

I am hereby contesting the deletion of “Draft Richard Scheffler.” Please kindly review my statements.

Richard Scheffler is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus at UC Berkeley with the department-wide Richard Scheffler Health Economics Award named after him. He was the founding father of The Petris Center, appointed by late Senator Nicholas C. Petris in 1999. He was appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom in 2019 to be on the Healthy California For All Commission.

There are many UC Berkeley faculty listed in Wikipedia as shown on the URL below:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_University_of_California,_Berkeley_faculty

Dr. Scheffler has comparable qualifications, honors, and awards as those listed on the above page.

Here are a few of the sources I plan to have on my references list (I will also include links to each of the publications mentioned):

I kindly request that you allow Dr. Scheffler to have an entry on Wikipedia. Let me know if I could be of further assistance.

Hello,

I know I'm typing the same message, but I'd like to let you know that I'm still monitoring this Wikipedia submission. With respect, I understand that the review process takes time, but I am writing to see if there are any updates, changes, or items that I can provide to move this along.

Hi. The article itself is published and the speed deletion tag was removed in June. I'm not sure what you're following up on after the draft was published but the past deletion has been resolved and the article is up. Now it's a question of cleaning it up as per the issues on the top of the page. I hope that clarifies. Kazamzam (talk) 00:21, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
