I know this is not a true 'discussion page' but I thought those who visited this page may be interested to know the story of the suicidal deer... In the winter of 2004-2005 I was crossing the bridge and there was a group of deer on it. My driver inadvertently clipped one of the deer, though it seemed uninjured and didn't even fall down. A midwest patrol crossed at the same time and we both pulled over. the patrolman came to our car in awe and we discussed how strange it was to see deer this far away from land. he proceeded to take his flashlight out and follow the deer we had clipped, and to our astonishment it lept from the bridge, 70+ feet to imminent death. Easily the weirdest sight I have seen on the bridge, and quite possibly the entire Duluth area.

image problem

[edit]

Someone before me added an image to the body of the article and now I can't figure out why the "references" section I added won't start on it's own new line. Help? Crk112 (talk) 10:51, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've fixed it, though it still may have a problem for people with browser windows expanding on high res monitors.
But frankly, the new picture is terrible. Should we remove it? Yworo (talk) 13:00, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

reference problem

[edit]

I tried to follow a link for the first reference and the URL has changed to "http://attic.areavoices.com/2008/02/19/the-late-great-arrowhead-bridge/", But I can't figure out how to fix it. I'm posting it in case someone smarter comes along... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.146.152.37 (talk) 12:44, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
