Richard Fuller (Bedfordshire MP)?

[edit]

Should we rename this to Richard Fuller (Bedfordshire MP)? Seeing that he's not MP for Bedford any more, but an adjacent constituency. Shritwod (talk) 18:31, 15 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'd prefer Richard Fuller (politician, Bedfordshire) as everyone knows what a political is but the term MP is more obscure, not all countries call their national politicians MPs.

Or just Richard Fuller (politician)? Since the previous MP of the same name has the article Richard Fuller (died 1782) Shritwod (talk) 07:52, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Shritwod: He should really be renamed to Richard Fuller (politician, died 1782) per WP:NCPDAB (which I have now done). I am happy to say that this is the primary topic - i.e. I am happy for this to become Richard Fuller (politician) with a {{for}} pointing towards Richard Fuller (politician, died 1782)

Frustratingly there's a disambiguation page at Richard Fuller (politician), so not quite as straightforward as I thought. But I do think that would be the correct page title and would be consistent with others I have seen. Shritwod (talk) 08:12, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
That shouldn't be a problem. We can nominate that page for speedy deletion under WP:CSD#G6, however I think we should wait a couple of days in case anyone else want to weigh in.
