Classics of Salsa?
[edit]Orquesta Aragon's music directly affected salsa, but was never called salsa. La Orquesta Aragon played Danzón, Cha Cha Cha, Charanga, and some Bolero. They never sung "salsa", which would take up a whole other page of discussion, on account of salsa being the word used to describe Cuban Guaracha made famous by Jhonny Pacheco and Celia Cruz. Salsa was never really used until 1975. Some claim thet Richie Ray and Bobby Cruz were the first to coin the phrase. But it is common knowledge that Salsa was mainly based off of the styles of Rumba and Guaracha. Music that La Orquesta Aragon never really played. In closing, this article needs editing and some more research to be done. —Preceding unsigned comment added by P70ferrer (talk • contribs) 05:55, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
