Trimming down

[edit]

This kid's a fair pro prospect, but only that; his career to date would not be notable enough to pass WP:BIO and warrant any article at all if he hadn't played a handful of pro games. That being said, a giant article far larger than accorded to most Hockey Hall of Fame players to someone ranked no better than Dallas' 13th most promising prospect is in violation of undue weight clauses and not remotely warranted. I think this is still far too much (for one thing, the junior careers in almost all NHL articles is handled with a mere sentence or two, even in the case of players with outstanding junior careers, among whose number Clune doesn't qualify), but there's nothing now in it which can't be sourced.  Ravenswing  00:43, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adding the Wikipedia:WikiProject Iowa tag back in. They have a section of interest for 'people from Iowa' which would include athletes. ColtsScore 23:28, 5 May 2007 (UTC) -- It also included 'residents' of Iowa too. ColtsScore 23:30, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
