Circumstances of Armitage's Resignation from the State Department

I corrected language that said Armitage resigned from the State Department in February 2005 because of allegations he leaked Valerie Plame's CIA employment to the press. Armitage actually left State to accompany Secretary Colin Powell. Both announced their resignations after the 2004 midterm election. Armitage left State in February 2005 just before his replacement was sworn in. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Daedalus1960 (talkcontribs) 11:30, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
