In 2019, the American Folklore Society named Ricardo Alegría to their list of 25 "Folklorists of Color": American Folklore Society

- @Pete unseth: Two things: next time when you add a claim like you did, which was reverted by two editors because you didn't put a reference, you can just add a reference to start with. It would have saved us a lot of effort time searching for something that you should reference yourself, when you add the claim. Your reverting my change was a result of your not adding the correct reference to begin with, right? Second, please sign your comments.
