Conservation Status

The article states that the Rhineuridae are listed as Least Concern "due to their wide distribution". However, earlier in the article, they are said to be "found only in Florida no further north than the panhandle". Surely a species that is found an area c.0.1% of the total surface area (land mass) of the Earth cannot be said to be widespread. For example - the African Elephant's distribution covers about a quarter of Africa (c.5.0%) but are not considered to be widespread. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kendroche (talkcontribs) 19:51, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
