A question for User:Marcocapelle: Why the change from [[Category:Freedom of religion by country|Indonesia]] to [[Category:Secularism in Indonesia|Indonesia]]? The primary concerns raised regarding the Decrees related to freedom of religion and not to secularism. That is, the concern is that the Decrees may effectively interfere with certain Indonesians freedom to practice the religion of their choice, not necessarily that the state should be separate from religion. Said another way, I have not seen the argument raised that the government should not be able to require permits for the construction of houses of worship, but rather that the requirement should be fairly applied so as to not interfere with freedom of religion. I realize that secularism is a subcatagory, but I question whether it is applicable in this situation.--Rpclod (talk) 03:28, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
