Diffusers

[edit]

A sufficiently diffuse sound field is established in the reverberation room by the inclusion of five stationery diffusers. The five diffusers are made from 1200 by 2400 by 12 mm medium density fibreboard (MDF) laminated between two galvanised steel sheets (22 gauge); the MDF edges are sealed with paint. Particular care has been taken to ensure the surfaces of the room are hard and flat. This helps ensure as a high a reverberation time as possible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.232.167.20 (talk) 13:29, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
