missing information
[edit]The "Occurences" table doesn't contain any example words, like it should. Also, I can't find a reference on Tolowa that says it has any retroflex ejectives. The Wikipedia article on Tolowa_language, in particular, says nothing about Tolowa's phonology. Eldin raigmore (talk) 21:31, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
This seems exactly [ t' ]
[edit]I'm trying to spot the difference between this and the Dental and alveolar ejective stops and yeah it seems they're identical. Abreham97 (talk) 08:27, 20 November 2021 (UTC)
- They're not the same thing though, /t'/ is an emphatic /t/ (which when done emphatically is usually followed by a glottal stop) whereas /ʈʼ/ you curl your tongue backwards and try to pronounce a /t/ (voicelessly); they could potentially sound very similar but if the same person performs each one of them properly there should be a clear distinction Emdosis (talk) 21:19, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
