[edit]"In France the retirement age is to be increased gradually to 67 years by 2023." Quotes a Finnish source. This is misleading. In France, the earliest that someone can retire (and receive pension benefits) is 62, with considerable political debate about raising that to 65, as part of the 2017 presidential election. The retirement age mentioned here is the (semi-)mandatory age at which one must retire in France. Justin (talk) 19:47, 3 December 2016 (UTC)

The current rules are as follows: "To be eligible for Age Pension you must be 65 years of age or older. From 1 July 2017, the qualifying age for Age Pension will increase from 65 years to 65 years and 6 months. The qualifying age will then increase by 6 months every 2 years, reaching 67 years by 1 July 2023." https://www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/services/centrelink/age-pension

The information is very misleading as another poster above mentions that changes to official retirement ages are not mentioned in the article. EG as a 33 year old male.. Living in Australia My retirement age would be 70 this is not shown as changes do not apply to the current "older" population due to typical unfair politics.. But this article contributes to spreading false information if not represented in a clear sub heading — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.181.38.232 (talk) 08:58, 24 October 2014 (UTC) Or we could wait til 2035 to change it then..? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.181.38.232 (talk) 09:01, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
- The section must be updated with the new reforms that are ongoing. There's a section on reform, but the table is outdated. I tagged it.2A02:2F01:504F:FFFF:0:0:BC19:D5F1 (talk) 14:21, 6 September 2015 (UTC)
