[edit]I expanded and rewrote slightly in terms of EM field propagation rather then photon emmission, which is potentially confusing since Maxwell's equations predict field propagation but not photons. Also added more sources and removed the banners. Also removed the stub tab and changed the classification to start class - this article is not likley to grow much larger... - It's not likely to grow because it's junk physics, the work of journoterrorists. Retarded and advanced are terms that have to do with timing, as in sequential events, and have absolutely nothing to do with electromagnetism, electricity but this is exactly the type of entry that "techy" journoterrorists write as a pastime. It not only does science a disservice, but it also detracts from the every good, honorable and truthful principle at the core of wikipedia this site's purpose. If you want to insult someone, just do it, don't waste experts valuable time having to sift throw this type of subtle slander, or worse, have an innocent reader come to wikipedia searching for knowledge only to not recognize the only thing they truthfully learned is some people are cowards an abuse written language for no other purpose then to belittle another person. - Dude, seriously? The above volunteer wrote a lucid explanation of a highly technical topic that is suitable for a general audience. Your execration is misplaced. I'm going to insult you now, Dirtclustit: get a life.Theotherjoebloggs (talk) 05:20, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
