Time zones of events

[edit]

Due to the fact that Al Jazeera (by far the most common source cited) gives all events in UTC, most events in the Americas actually happened a day earlier than listed. Can someone fix this? --Numberguy6 (talk) 16:24, 3 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • That would have been me. I used to do all the world events and developments but have cut them back to just New Zealand and Malaysia as a result of burnout. I'll try and do it but have been busy with my university studies. You're welcome to give them a go if you want. -- Andykatib 02:08, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks to Diannaa for bringing to my attention the potential breaches of copyright in regards to my recent edits. I tend to use the daily updates from Al Jazeera to make these changes, and occasionally I struggle to rephrase all of what is given in their relatively short live updates. I will work to resolve any possible breaches remaining, and take this into consideration when continuing to update this and other relevant articles. I'm editing quicker than normal to try to get these articles up to date after noticing that there have been very few updates recently on what I consider crucial information. I will also consider utilising different news sources to use as references. Hopefully we can try to get a few more editors working on this article soon. 😊 MaxyPaxy2004 (talk) 14:10, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
