Interesting: the introduction talks about Jeus Christ, but the whole text of the requrimiento (and I checked the version in Spanish) does not mention Jeus, nor his death and resurrection...--Pan Gerwazy23:08, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What is the source for the date? My notes say Palacios Rubios drafted it in 1513, and it was first taken to the Indies by Pedrarias de Avila as governor of Tierra Firme in 1514. Llajwa01:59, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It has been suggested that the Requerimiento written by Council of Castile jurist Juan López de Palacios Rubios article or section should be merged with Spanish Requirement of 1513. This should not happen for it will make facts about both less specific. 70.195.0.167 (talk) 21:34, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
