Comments:

  • There are at least 12 dead external links in the article in citations. These need to be fixed.
  • Several of the examples given in the Republican Figures sections lack citations. Examples include Jim Whitaker and Mickey Edwards. Other examples have citations for their support but not for supporting sentences that come afterward. An example of this is Charles Mathias Jr., whose "often at odds" comment is not cited and should be.
  • The overall format of the citations is muddled and mixed. Citation templates are used occasionally, but the majority have just an external link attached to the article title.
  • What was the Obama campaign's strategy to increase Republican support of the campaign?
  • What impact did these voters have in the election?
  • What has been the legacy of Republican support for Obama?
