Change the name of the article to the "Republic Steel Company"

[edit]

Change the name of the article to the "Republic Steel Company" because that was what it really was. Give its whole name, and not a "short form" of its name.98.67.166.134 (talk) 23:08, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cyrus Eaton

[edit]

Cyrus Eaton did not found the Republic Iron and Steel Company in 1899, as was indicated in the info box. If you look at his entry, he was about 15 years old when the original Republic Steel was founded. I've corrected this error. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.252.184.166 (talk) 22:10, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Republic Steel Canton Ohio 2013

[edit]

Here is the text about LTV and Republic Steel from the Article: 'Canton, Ohio' http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Canton,_Ohio As in many industrial areas of the United States, employment in the manufacturing sector is in a state of long-term decline. LTV Steel (formerly Republic Steel) had been a large employer before its bankruptcy in 2000.

I will soon update this article about Republic Steel (tm), which is the current name of the same steel mill facilities located at 2633 8th Street NE; Canton, Ohio for about 125 years. Republic has recently rebuilt one furnace into a modern bottom-pour furnace. Republic produces special bar quality steel including steel with lead. I will also cite this page: http://www.republicsteel.com/

I will also update the Republic Steel page http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Republic_Steel. Sponsion (talk) 22:26, 4 January 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sponsion (talkcontribs)
