Chewbacca defence

Deleted section about O.J. Simpson and the hotel room. Aside from the fact that the conclusion was speculative at best, and the whole paragraph was completely unreferenced, it contained a link to "Repossession Defense" that pointed to Chewbacca Defense. BJAODN worthy, if we still had BJAODN, but definitely not serious. 04:40, 8 March 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.215.53.205 (talk)

I removed the WhiteHotProperty in reference as it is not pointing to relevant contents at all (i.e. not repossession) just to the home page of the website.

I dearly would like to know where WhiteHotProperty get the sales prices for repossession house in the table as I was not able to find any houses advertised with information about actual repossession or repossession order on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Marco71 (talkcontribs) 10:51, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
I removed the link to the repo man video since there is no information about whether or not this particular clip is real. --BillyRamirez 03:23, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
removed repossession advice from external links as it does not offer advice just a cash offer for your house!
it was back removed again —Preceding unsigned comment added by Marco71 (talkcontribs) 19:51, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Loan

This article should also address what happens to the loan after the collateral has been repossessed. Rklawton (talk) 14:56, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

US law

This section needs to be fixed. The first sentence is gibberish--it has more than on intro clause. . — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.255.98.86 (talk) 01:27, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

False Repossession

What legal possibilities do debtors have to PREVENT false repossesion? Do repo-agents for instance have to prove their right to repossess before taking action? Or can any thief with a big enough mouth just take anything they want and run away with it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.172.59.47 (talk) 14:29, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

General Copyediting Needed

Hello, I am creating this section as a location to discuss copy-editing and verification work. I intend to do multiple and likely substantial edits to help improve this article, and will document the changes and why I made them here. Input is encouraged, either by suggestions here or simply with bold edits that fix problems. Thanks. SpuriousCorrelation 01:47, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

Note, this has not dropped off my radar. I still hope to do this when I get the time. Don't let that stop anyone from improving it, though! SpuriousCorrelation 16:39, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
