Pashupati Rai is an ex-MLA from Dildarnagar belonging to this village. There is a Non government organization running named as Vishva Santi Joyti Sanstha, Reotipur, Ghazipur. It is working for the old age home and public library. Its founder is Sri Manindra Nath Lal, retired Physics Lecturer at Nehru Vidyapeeth Inter College, Reotipur, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh.
