Disadvantages
[edit]This section needs cleaning up.Alxxthegeek (talk) 07:22, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
Original text
"The disadvantages differ depending on the school of thought. However, the University of South Australia holds a pejorative advantage in terms of earlier adoption. However, the system's disadvantage is its use of Java, which is considered slow and is not prevalent on all web browsers, especially mobile devices. In addition, the NetLab application must be separately downloaded, further complicating the adoption rate."
Use of java is irrelevant. Its just a behind the scenes technology used in delivery the laboratory. Also slow compared to what ? Alxxthegeek (talk) 07:24, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
Main disadvantages depending on the type of laboratory (compared to a proximal laboratory):
- Lack of hands on trouble shooting and debugging experience.
- Lack of equipment setup experience.

If there are no objections , I'll make the changes I suggested above.Alxxthegeek (talk) 00:26, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
Also will change the name of the external link Labshare consortium to Labshare if there aren't any objections ? Alxxthegeek (talk) 02:22, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

[edit]iLabs links to an unrelated page. Quoting from the linked page: "iLabs is a non-profit organization Milan based pursuing multidisciplinary research on radical extension of human life-span."] Suggest the link should be removed. Cathaldoc (talk) 05:22, 15 May 2014 (UTC)
Future Direction
[edit]Original text: "Current system capabilities include:
- Online session booking, utilizing a database and online interface
- Authentication to satisfy security requirements
- Desktop, generalized screen for chat, emoticon, time limit, bandwidth limit
- Live lab camera which allows panning, tilting, zooming, showing, hiding, refresh
- Circuit builder (this is just simulative)
- Function generator (this is just simulative)
- Digital multimeter (this is just simulative)
- Oscilloscope (this is just simulative)"
The text is not related to the section title. Rather than 'future direction' it lists current capabilities (of an unknown and unreferenced lab). Suggest this section be removed or replaced with relevant material. Cathaldoc (talk) 05:34, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

A statement about Moodle is made in the "Advantages" section which is not supported and also uses uncertain language. The statement isn't necessarily incorrect but it should be reworded
