Smurf-German
[edit]Smurf-German: How can that be, if the Smurfs were only published in 1958? --moyogo 09:05, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- You're right. Bothered me too. He was called "Strumpf-Deutscher". I will have to check this, perhaps the French word "schtroumpf" already meant something at the time. But the sources do mention his shortness at the same time. Did "strumpf"-"schtroumpf" mean "second class"? While I check for an explanation, I will change into the German version, to make sure we are not talking rubbish here.--Pan Gerwazy 12:07, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- Strumpf-Deutscher makes more sense than Schlümpfe-Deutscher indeed. --moyogo 16:09, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Nazi-propaganda on Wikipedia?
[edit]As a Dutchman I am not content with this text. The SS-volunteers were no "heroes". Several parts of this article are not neutral. Robert Prummel (talk) 23:21, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
No, referring to nazi volunteers as 'patriots' - what kind of patriots are violently attacked by their own people? Maybe Vidkun Quisling was a Patriot too, in Norway. This article needs cleaning up. 2.28.140.201 (talk) 12:32, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
