Nick Mason

[edit]

Nick Mason did not play Shine on you crazy diamond. He only appeared on comfortably numb and wish you were here - the 2 encores.

Title of DVD

[edit]

The offical title of this DVD has been confirmed as "Remember That Night", a lyric from the On an Island title track. Maroonedsorrow 22:38, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removed the tracklist

[edit]

It was wrong, and it isn't even decided yet what is going to be on the different discs. I put out the official information (from Gilmours' official blog) until further details come. An administrator needs to change the title, as maroonedsorrow says!

Shine On You Crazy Diamond

[edit]

I don't want to revert it because Gilmour's blog says "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part Two)", but I'm pretty sure it will be changed. Even the editor of the blog was confused and have written in the blog that it should be called only "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" untill he got more information from the publisher. And now they've changed it. Floyd(Norway) 00:04, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Broadcasts

[edit]

This was broadcast on 13th May 2011 on Sky Arts 1. I am keeping the recording on my V+ box if the tracks are needed. Certainly good to see Dave Crosby and Graham Nash. Does Graham have a look of Roger Waters or is it just me? --Nigelgreenx2 (talk) 13:18, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Vocals for Comfortably Numb

[edit]

I just watched the broadcast of "David Gilmour: Remember That Night: Live at The Royal Albert Hall" on DirecTV. I see the lead vocals of "Comfortably Numb" credited here to David Bowie as well as on David Gilmour's site, but it is clearly Richard Wright singing the lead vocals of the song and then Gilmour comes in for his vocals and the guitar riffs.
