Relics of Muhammad
[edit]This article needs better sources (besides two 17th- and 19th-century Europeans) and a fuller discussion of context. It's rather bizarre that the names of the relics are given in Turkish. Where were these objects during the centuries between Muhammad's lifetime and the reign of Selim I, i.e. from the 7th to the 16th centuries? How common is the veneration of these relics? Does no one dispute their authenticity? The relics have a history, and we have not told it yet. — ℜob C. alias ᴀʟᴀʀoʙ 21:50, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
tradition of venerating relics
[edit]"Islam has a tradition of venerating the relics attributed to the prophet Muhammad" radically overstates the case, I think. Anyhow, that assertion is completely unsourced. Шизомби (talk) 20:08, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
Needs to be disambiged. It may well be he doesn't have an article. Шизомби (talk) 04:13, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
- Google book is freely available here. Looks like the Charles White we are discussing does not have his own article. No middle name given, though the title page refers to him as Charles White Esq.Cliff (talk) 19:53, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
Sacred Relics
[edit]This article needs a serious review. The sources are foreign and ill-informed with regards to the subject. At the very least, it can be combined with the already existing detailed and well sourced article called Sacred Relics.

Consensus?
[edit]This page and the Talk page were recently changed from Relics of Muhammad to Relics of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). How was the consensus formed for justifying such a change? AstroLynx (talk) 16:18, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
