Hello. Welcome to the discussion page. I'm GreySun and I started work on this article mid-July of 2009. The intent behind the article is to express what is known about reindustrialization. This includes both old and recent, incoming knowledge. These need not always be mainstream in point of view. Some only need be definite undercurrents of thought. As of yet, the article is based mostly on undercurrents, rather than what is mainstream, peer-reviewed, or think-tank-sponsored. The need to develop knowledge on the main topic is critical. Just as democracies depend on an educated public, an educated public depends on public knowledge of reindustrialization.
I suggest that the article begin with an introduction, proceed to a total overview, and next a series of subsequent clarifications - rather than having different sections for the different, sundry aspects of the topic. Let's keep the article an organic whole.
As of yet the only part certainly left out of the framework currently written is the way reindustrialization is proceeding or will proceed. This is to be postponed until the basics are improved. A section entitled "Obstacles" could go well after "Reasons" and before "Strategies". This could cover obstacles facing reindustrialization.
If you are capable of encyclopedia-quality writing, then do not hesitate to incrementally revise the article with the above goals of design. The article still needs facts and figures. Some possible bits to add include (more) info on retooling, what various countries are doing (strategies), and how reindustrializtion is proceeding in those countries.
