some translation needed
[edit]Can someone translate the oaths as they appear in this article? The first is translated, the others are not, so the difference in them is difficult to pick up for those of us who do not speak any German. Lorangriel 16:53, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
revision needed
[edit]The text of the SS oath cannot be right. To avoid generating historic myths, I strongly suggest taking out this section until fixed. Who has access to reliable sources? Asigler (talk) 23:22, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- Done! [1] Can someone proofread the English translation? 142.103.135.68 (talk) 12:53, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- The German Wiki article you've linked to now used the older "Ich schwöre dir..." version that this article previously had. Does anyone actually know which of these two oaths is the real one? The current one we have here, with the "Sieg Heil!" at the end, sounds a little silly to me personally. Maybe one was for the Allgemeine-SS and one was for the Waffen-SS? I don't know.
