Current Practice
[edit]This section is a mess. It would be much better if it had a separate section on the RSS for each region, together with a section on the new government's proposals for the future. Peterkingiron (talk) 14:57, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- Yes. I don't think we know what the proposals are yet (other than that they will be abolished at some point, presumably to be replaced by something else), but there's no harm in updating and correcting the article now. Using this information would be a start. Don't wait for me - I'm busy! Ghmyrtle (talk) 15:05, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
Revocation
[edit]Please correct this....they were revoked under section 109 of the Localism Act 2011, the Local Democracy Development and Construction Act 2009 merely made a provision for the government to be allowed to revoke RSS. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.25.207.141 (talk • contribs) 16:47, 12 October 2015 Above comment moved from article space.
