Second bridge demolition?

Both Redheugh Bridges standing, 1983

What's the date for the second bridge being demolished? Andy Dingley (talk) 20:29, 4 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment

[edit]

I have assessed this article against the criteria for B-class:

  • Suitably referenced, with inline citations
  • Reasonable coverage - no obvious omissions or inaccuracies
  • Defined structure, with adequate lead
  • Reasonably well written for grammar and flow
  • Supporting materials - Infobox, images, location
  • Appropriately understandable

Since it does not have adequate inline citations, the coverage is at best patchy, and the lead is far too short, I am downgrading it to C-class, I will have a go at improving it to a point where it meets the above criteria. Bob1960evens (talk) 11:53, 10 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Pronounciation

[edit]

The article says that the name of the bridge is pronounced 'red-yoof'. I'm from the area and have never heard it called that, I and everyone else I know says 'red-hyu'. Can anyone corroborate the pronounciation or find a source that does? JayBeckerNCL (talk) 10:12, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
