A note in passing
[edit]Guys, I noticed that the first paragraph isn't about Redeemer (Christianity) at all, but about a word. The article should begin with a brief statement of what the subject is; discussions of words, if relevant to the lead at all, should be further down. This matters both because new readers want a quick definition and scope, and because pop-ups linked to this article currently show something that looks obviously wrong. Unlimited vs. Limited Atonement
[edit]Does the description of "limited atonement" make any sense here:
"Adherents of unlimited atonement interpret this to mean that Jesus' redemptive role is for all people without exception, while adherents of limited atonement interpret it as being for all people without distinction—for Gentiles as well as Jews."
Is there some difference in Christianity between "exception" and "distinction" of which I'm unaware? Peter Delmonte (talk) 18:55, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
