Flags

[edit]

Is it true that all the flags listed on this DAB page are referred to as "Red White and Blue"? Just because something can be called "Red White and Blue" doesn't mean it should be listed here (compare this to the DAB guideline on acronyms). Besides, why do we stop at the national level? Aren't Arkansas's, Hawaii's, and Ohio's, flags red and white and blue? Aren't Chicago's, Baton Rouge's, and Des Moines's? I'd even think order should matter, and flags like the one of France (usually described as blue, white, and red) should not be included (or perhaps listed in a "See also" section). There are several International maritime signal flags containing the colors red, white, and blue. Should those be listed?

I propose all flags should be removed (perhaps replaced with a link to List of flags by color combination#White, red, blue) with the exception of the flag of the United States (no icon) because that article specifically notes its nickname as "Red, White, and Blue".
