Content of Episodes

As five of the seven episodes feature work by Jack Rosenthal, arguably the Aristophanes of Commercial broadcasting, it might repay the labour of filling in some of the blank spaces of the episodes. From memory (I saw it when I was eight), I can recount that Amazing Stories was that rarest of things, a science fiction television play dealing with urban apathy and lethargy, which actually transpires to be an alien invasion through metamorphosis, somewhat reminiscent of Invasion of the Body Snatchers: basically, Joe Melia discovers his family have turned into animated vegetables.
