IOR

I have twice reverted a large chunk of text which is inappropriate as it is clearly an excessive amount of promotional material for a commercial organisation. The Wikipedia policy on the promotion of organisations WP:PROMO as well as policies relating to providing weight to subject matter of very minor importance in overall terms WP:UNDUE is clear.Tmol42 (talk) 16:26, 22 July 2012 (UTC)

POV-check?

The lead paragraphs of this article (everything before the table of contents) seem to be written from a pro-recruitment-agency point of view, explaining the benefits of using an outside recruiting agency. Is this an appropriate tone for Wikipedia? Also, the section on “in-house recruitment” seems to imply that for a company to use its own human-resources department to recruit staff is because of pressure to cut costs, rather than being the default. (Indeed, and in spite of the fact of this article already being favorable to outside recruiters, I might argue that cutting costs is a driver behind outsourcing the recruiting function to an outside firm instead of hiring employees in your human resources department.) 68.55.112.31 (talk) 21:00, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

Agree. Removed section from lead and embedded in body of article. Will though need more editing to establish the WP:NPOV balance. Tmol42 (talk) 00:51, 4 August 2012 (UTC)

Merger proposal

Having started (but not yet completed) a very long overdue clean-up of this page I came across several articles which have elements which overlap with each other and will need addressing at some stage. However, the Recruiter article appears to have evolved in parallel with this one with much duplication. I propose that it be merged with this article with any non duplicated content transferred to this article. Neither article contains sufficnet citations which will need sourcing for the merged article. Discuss! Tmol42 (talk) 00:48, 4 August 2012 (UTC)

Articles have now been merged under Recruitment article name.Tmol42 (talk) 18:05, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
