If she lived in Louisiana since 1795, how she can go in 1982! to Seattle. - Darwinek 28 June 2005 10:30 (UTC)

She hasn't lived since 1795 ... her family has: " where her family has lived since 1795. " ... it's just saying that the family has been there forever ... read more carefully! --Talia 29 June 2005 12:18 (UTC)

I added this because there are direct quotes in the article. IMO, these need attribution.

This article is priceless. Just hilarious. What a self-parody. Fluff. Pure fluff. 98.246.183.207 (talk) 00:04, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Contradiction: was Little Altars published before, or after Divine Secrets?

[edit]

According to the Little Altars Everywhere article, it is a collection of short stories (not a novel) published in 1996, as a prequel to Divine Secrets. This article says it was published in 1992. Which is correct? JustinTime55 (talk) 15:31, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It was originally published by a small press with a limited print run in 1992. After 'Divine Secrets' hit it big, it was re-published by a bigger publishing company in 1996. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.250.36.45 (talk) 01:05, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Little Altars Everywhere was definitely published first, in 1992. Divine Secrets followed in 1996. It would only be considered a prequel if it were published after, which it wasn't. Also, the book's cover, interior references, and Wells's own statements refer to it as a novel, rather than a collection of short stories. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kfeniello (talkcontribs) 00:40, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong YOB

[edit]

This person was not born in 1969 ("citation needed"). She is 10 to 20 years older than that. I saw her give a reading in Seattle in the early 1980s. She was not 13 or 14 at the time. Hurmata (talk) 06:08, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
