– or Infanticides by Rebecca Smith and Infanticide by Mary Morgan or something similar, per WP:BIO1E. The only thing notable about these women is that they committed infanticide and were convicted and hanged. Even if we keep the women's names as the main title for the articles, the current disambiguator is poor, since these women were not infanticides – a noun that identifies a category in which these women fit would be better. Something like "(murderer)" or "(child killer)" would be better. These are the only articles on Wikipedia that use "(infanticide)" as a disambiguator. — BarrelProof (talk) 19:06, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

That's interesting. It gives a similar definition of homicide as well. I don't recall encountering that meaning of the word before. I do not find any uses of that meaning in other article titles. The only use of homicide as a disambiguator on Wikipedia is in Palm Sunday massacre (homicide), but that's a different meaning. I personally still think it is not the best choice. — BarrelProof (talk) 21:43, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Move to (murderer) as the disamb in both cases, or Murder of Richard Smith for the first case. Infanticide is a weird disamb, but the notability seems to be on the crime. If someone was found guilty making an article on the trial instead of the crime is extremely misleading. PARAKANYAA (talk) 23:56, 23 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Move to Rebecca Smith (murderer) and Mary Morgan (British murderer), combining PARAKANYAA and 162 etc.'s suggestions. * Pppery * it has begun... 15:59, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
