I do not believe that Ray Hanson died in 1974, since I was a student at Western from 1974 to 1978 (also born and raised in Macomb) .... I met him on football field for Homecoming 1975 or 1976 .... so 1974 can not be right. This should be a well known date at Alumni House - quit guessing. User:beatgr
You are correct, his year of death was 1982. I have corrected the date. Next time, instead of belittling those that create these articles, perhaps you can instead take the time to make the necessary corrections and provide sources. - Seinfreak3713:43, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I am not belitting you - just get the facts correct - especially since you are the creator of this article on Mr. Hanson. If you are indeed a web master at WIU, then you know the importance of getting the information correct. I have added a "Wiki" articles related to the WIU radio stations (WIUS, WIUM, WIUW). This web article by Larry Sanger, one of the Wikipedia co-founders, Wikipedia credibility & management problems-- summarizes the current Wiki problems very well. - G.
