Is this article any good? I created it and hopes its alright to keep. — HK22 \my contributions/ (my talk) 09:45, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

I guess it's done now but personally I don't see much point in having an article about an unreleased game for which so little is known (not even the title). Plugwash (talk) 12:55, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
I think this article could work if you could provide some references. Fantasy Dragon (talk) 20:51, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
Unfortunately everything in the article so far is unverified original research which is not allowed. It reads somewhat like a fan site. I really don't think there's enough information about the game to have an article for it yet. Particularly as the title of the game hasn't even been announced yet. I think as it stands I think this may have to be deleted. You could have a look at the Wikipedia Video Games Project for some advice on what must be in video game articles and how to write them. It's also a good place to find other tasks that need doing on video gaming articles. It might be a good idea to do some work over there until more information is available about this game. this is an edit war

This is an edit war, is has been created AGAIN! — HK22 \my contributions/ (my talk) 06:34, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Tagged for speedy deletion under G4. MuZemike 07:58, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
...and reverted after noticing the page move. This may be more of a dispute resolution issue. MuZemike 08:17, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

An article of the new Ratchet & Clank Future game has just been created (Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crank in Time), and it looks like this time it will stay. (Someone beat me to the punch telling you to move the article back into the mainspace as there are now reliable sources out there.) I have requested that the page history of User talk:HK22/Unnamed Ratchet & Clank Future Sequel be merged into the page history of Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crank in Time, so that the entire edit history, from the time you have originally created it to the very last revision of the new form, is all there. I would recommend that you try to merge what verifiable content that you have at User talk:HK22/Unnamed Ratchet & Clank Future Sequel into Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crank in Time. Happy editing with the new article! MuZemike 23:18, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Crank? I thought it was crack? Fantasy Dragon (talk) 23:39, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
I believe you are right. Once that history merge is completed, it should be moved to there. MuZemike 00:27, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Added pre-order info

Hopefully I've saved someone else a bit of time by doing that! Can't wait for more info to be released about this game.

ShmenonPie - You wanna slice of me? (talk) 22:57, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for finding that source; it's always good to keep on top of new announcements regarding future games. I cut down on the detail that you added though, because it seems kind of like a copyright violation of the URL source and it's also just a lot of detail for such a relatively minor part of the game's development/release. Thanks! –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 23:06, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Came across and edit conflict as I was doing the same. I've left a little more detail and put it under the heading Marketing as I imaging we'll get a lot more in the run-up to release. Chimpanzee - User | Talk | Contribs 23:17, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Release Date

The page says the game will be released on November 09 twice and cites two separate sources, but in those links I can't find anything that says that. Help? 212.235.53.159 (talk) 13:21, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Has since been edited to refine the date even more, still without a source. :| 212.235.53.159 (talk) 09:18, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks! 212.235.53.159 (talk) 08:09, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Cover image

So, should we use the US or the UK cover image? The current image doesn't have "Future" in the title, but the article does, so it is kind of inconsistent. Either the image should use the US version or the title should use the UK version; I'd be inclined to say that the image should be changed, since that keeps it in line with the articles for Tools of Destruction and Quest for Booty. Thoughts? –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 02:29, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Since this is an American website, you might as well use the American cover image. Y2J The Evil Twin (talk) 14:08, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

This isn't an American website. It's an English (language) one. This version of Wikipedia is used by all English-speaking countries (see WP:ENGVAR). Having said that, with video game pages it it common to have the box art for the region which the game has the strongest ties. ie, if a game is developed in Britain (LittleBigPlanet for example) the British box art is used. If it's American (as R&C is) the American one would be used. I believe the British one is used here because it was available first. If the final US box art is available, it should be used instead. Chimpanzee - User | Talk | Contribs 14:48, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
I've now replaced it with the North American box art. Chimpanzee - User | Talk | Contribs 15:13, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Sounds good. I pretty much agree with your feelings on this; the box art used should be based on where the game was made. In this case, it also just syncs the cover up with the page title. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 22:01, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Crash Twinsanity was developed in Britain, but the American boxart is used. So if RaC is developed in America and uses the American boxart, then you should replace the boxart of Crash Twinsanity with the European one. Besides, if wikipedia isn't an American website, why is the colour page spelt without a U? Y2J The Evil Twin (talk) 12:42, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Yes, or you could. Color is written in American English. Probably because that's the language the article was first written in. Also note that Colour redirects to that article and that it notes spelling differences in the very first line. You should read WP:ENGVAR for more information on Wikipedia's language policy with regard to different varieties of English. Chimpanzee - User | Talk | Contribs 12:45, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
Just out of curiosity, I looked up the English box art for Crash Twinsanity and it's identical to the one in the article?! I see the difference now. Chimpanzee - User | Talk | Contribs 12:59, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
