Citations for myth do not support statement

[edit]

One of the myths listed is "That rape must be sexually motivated. Many researchers have concluded that power and/or anger, not sex, are often the dominant motivator of rapes." But the two citations, https://doi.org/10.1007/s11199-005-6761-4 and https://crisp.org.uiowa.edu/sites/crisp.org.uiowa.edu/files/2020-04/6.8.pdf, talk about the public's guesses of the reasons for rape, not what the rapists' actual goals were. I don't know whether to remove the citations, mark them as (incorrect citation) if such a mark exists, or something else. I don't know how to find citable sources to support the statement.
