There are many villages in Tripura,Assam and Mizoram where this dialect is spoken.These valleges are:
1.Zarolian,a Ranglong village in the north of Tripura state.The village is capped with abundant vegatation and also sorround by the forest.The Myth behind the creation or derivation of its name goes back to hundred years.It is assumed that There was a gygantic tree,which was cut down by the woodcutters and pulled away by elephants.but everytime it is pulled away,the tree retreated to the original place.it took place for many times.Hence,the mystery involved in the retreat of the tree to its original place derives its name 'Zarolian'meaning a huge Zarol tree. The village is divided into four hamlets,namely khopui (centre),Tesilip,Bhumihin(landless) and Mukamkhua which is now a hamlet of Noagang,a neighbouring village.The village is also sorrounded by other Ranglong villages,Noagang in the west and also market place,situated along the NH 8,laikhua and Zoitang in the North,Seisumdung and Tisakhua in the south and Longai or cachar villages in the east. The village comprises of more than 100 families.There are three christian denominations;Catholics,ICI and Baptist.The people of this village could not shine much in educational sphere as compared to its neighbours,however many graduates have come out recently ,and many young people of this village are engaging themselves in Different govt.jobs,micro business and persuing Bachelors in different colleges.The means of livilihood of these people is basically horticultural such betelnut,rubber plantation and a minority still grow jhum on season for livelihood. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ranglong David (talk • contribs) 06:54, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
