This is a rewritten, re-referenced, and heavily truncated version of the original draft submitted to the Article for Creation project. Much of the material was a copyright infringement, pasted verbatim or very closely paraphrased from this page and several other official biographies. Even had it not been a copyright infringement, the tone was pervasively promotional and unencyclopedic. Many of the references were repetitive versions of his official biographies used in program notes and concert announcements. As such, they contributed nothing to the referencing beyond what is now present. Further, they do nothing to establish notability, as they are not independent of the subject. Others were inappropriate references to Amazon.com and CD Universe.
Editors who wish to expand the article, please read Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Words to watch, and Wikipedia:Verifiability before starting to edit it. If you have any affiliation whatsoever with Randy Sabien (personal or professional) please also read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and follow the guidelines there scrupulously. Note that cherry-picked quotes of praise are inappropriate and particularly inadmissible without full bibliographic information (author, date, page, title, publication/publisher, and page number) for the original publication. Do not copy third party quotes from Sabien's official website or the website of his management or his official biographies. This is a notable artist in his genre. An article full of puffery and promotionalism is not only against Wikipedia's core policies but also detracts from his image rather than enhancing it.
