Infobox

[edit]
  • Multiple facts in the infobox are unsourced, like the DOB, POB, height, and weight
I think these come from the The Canadian Pro Football Encyclopedia, @BU Rob13: WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 21:44, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, the entire infobox in all of my Canadian football biographies are sourced to the CPFE. ~ Rob13Talk 22:06, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Early career

[edit]
  • "In 1984, he was named an All-Canadian." - maybe you could explain what an All-Canadian is to non-football experts like myself  Done
  • "By February 1985, he was considered likely to be selected in the first round of the 1985 CFL Draft." - if there anything to say whom Ambrosie was likely to be selected for the first round of the 85 draft?  Done

Calgary Stampeders

[edit]
  • Wikilink Calgary Stampeders since it is the first time it is mentioned in the main body of the prose  Done
  • I'm guessing that rookie of the year is the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie Award? If so please added a wikilink  Done

Toronto Argonauts

[edit]
  • Added a wikilink to Toronto Argonauts and right guard  Done
  • "The continued injury issues didn't affect the offensive line's success on the field," - no contractions please  Done

Edmonton Eskimos

[edit]
  • "The Argonauts had not originally planned to trade Ambrosie, but Ambrosie requested to be traded to a team closer to where his wife worked." - reptition of Ambrosie  Done
  • "The Eskimos met the Stampeders in the West Final for the fourth season in the row" - reword to The Eskimos met the Stapeders in the West Final for the fourth consecutive season  Done

Adminstrative roles

[edit]
  • "On June 29, 2017, Ambrosie was named to be the 14th CFL commissioner, succeeding Jeffrey Orridge." - should be reworded toOn June 29, 2017 Ambrosie was name the 14th CFL commissioner, succeeding Jeffrey Orridge.  Done
  • "The move was made official on July 4." - perhaphs this could be reworded to say The move was made offical five days later.  Done
I slightly changed this section of the article. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 23:10, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The change looks fine and thanks for correcting a factual error that I overlooked. MWright96 (talk) 11:14, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]
  • References 39, 40 and 46 are bare urls  Done

Going to place this review on hold until everything has been dealt with. MWright96 (talk) 15:22, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
