Triple A team?
[edit]In 1999, I recall overhearing a rumor in a local sports bar in Indio, Cal. about the Quakes had been interested to join the AAA Pacific Coast League for the 2000 season. So far, I hadn't found any mention of that agreement, because the Quakes remained in the class-A California League the whole time. The Angels' triple-A affiliate is in Salt Lake City, Utah and to loose their affiliation would be difficult for their team's financial stability. I can name only the Durham Bulls in Durham, North Carolina to change leagues from the class-A Carolina League to the AAA-level International League in 1998 as an affiliate of both the Atlanta Braves and Tampa Bay Rays. + Mike D 26 (talk) 15:33, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
