The result of the move request was: page moved. Deacon of Pndapetzim (Talk) 23:02, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
Ranau, Sabah, Malaysia → Ranau — There appear to be only one place/thing called Ranau, which is this place. The other closest thing is Lake Ranau. The Ranau namespace was originally used by this article and then it was made into a disambiguation page which linked to only two articles (this Ranau and Lake Ranau). I have manually moved the Ranau page to Ranau (dismbiguation). In view of this, i think the title of this article is too long, messy and unnecessary since there is only one place called Ranau. ќמшמφטтгמtorque 02:14, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
- Support. Clearly the primary topic, not to mention that a) there is only one other use so a hat note link can handle that just as well as a dab page, and b) the other use (the lake) is an obscure topic (a stub with no links from other articles), while this article is real. Also, all of the links from article content to Ranau seem to intend to target this article, not the dab page but that's where they currently link. That will be fixed with this move. --Born2cycle (talk) 05:49, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

Lake Ranau
[edit]Ranau in Sabah like Ranau in Mindanao now is Lake Lanao same Lake Ranau in Sabah Malaysia.[1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 27.110.190.131 (talk) 02:18, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
- ...thus it has been mentioned on the top. No need to put it on the top infobox anymore. Wakanebe Wizard (talk) 03:45, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
