There is the less romantic, less poetic article on Ramblers' Association which gives one of the modern usages of the word rambling/rambler. Also walking (and rambling which probably shouldn't be in Wikipedia, but in Wiktionary. Dieter Simon 22:53, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
